I think Peter and Anne showed a teenage attitude. During the play Peter wanted to stay alone and Anne liked to talk. This kind of attitudes usually shows to teenagers. Normally, teenagers like to talk and share their worry and secrets. So I think that is why Anne like her diary to share her secrets and worrys and Peter like his cat to play.

I agree with you that most of teenage people like to talk and play. I think Anne showed teenage attitude when she talk with Peter.
