What do you think this play reveals about our need for freedom? About the power of love? About courage and hope? About good and evil? In your answers, consider how the play’s themes relate to the themes of another work, such as The Taming of the Shrew.

I think this play reveals how important freedom is. Lots of people have freedom but they don't know how freedom is important. In the play there are love between Anne and his father Mr.Frank. He gave her daughter an power to live. This love also gave her an courage to live and hope to survive. That helps Anne to live in the Secret Annex that is fill with silent. In the play good and evil had shown. For evil Nazis, betrayers, and thief is there. As a good there is Mr.Kraler and Miep helped Mr. Frank. The theme of this play had relates to "When My Name Was Keoko." In this play Jews had persecuted by Japan and had lost there freedom from Japanese. Also in the "When My Name Was Keok" Sun-Hee and Tae-yul had lost there freedom and to speak, and lost there friends.
